Many IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR candidates comment “Was this material in my original IDC?” my response usually is that I am sure that it was in their first IDC but as you are so busy taking it all in you might not get the full benefit of all the IDC information.
During the IDC STAFF (IDCS) program you will get to experience the whole IDC again and by sitting on “my side of the fence” you will see and learn at lot of extra things. First I will take you through the setting up and organizing an IDC, The scoring techniques and the programs that you as an IDCS can teach. Next you will not only sit in on an IDC but you will be responsible for the Paperwork side of it all and assisting the candidates in making sure that they have all the requested documents.
So your IDCS course starts about two days before the IDC and this gives you time to get prepared and focused on participating on the full IDC.
Your investment for this programme is $1195.00 and includes: the air fills, tank hire, weights hire and dive trips.
Extras would be other requested PADI materials, PADI fees and reef taxes.
As this level is required to gain the Master Instructor and ultimately the Course Director level, ALL candidates are invited to join in on my future IDC’s to build your confidence and keep fresh with the Instructor development process.
